We are experiencing intermittent failures with AI-powered resume parsing, AI candidate suggestions, and AI summaries due to an ongoing upstream incident at OpenAI ("Elevated 401 errors for API endpoints", https://status.openai.com).
Impact: - Some candidates added today may appear as "Untitled" in the candidates list because the AI parser could not extract their name, email, and contact details. - AI suggestions and AI search summaries may occasionally fail and require a retry. - All other platform functionality (upload, manual edit, search, messaging, integrations) is operating normally.
What we've done: - Deployed a mitigation on our side (removed an OpenAI-Organization header that was amplifying the upstream 401 rate). - A second mitigation (automatic retry on transient 401s) and a backfill for affected candidates are in progress.
We are monitoring the OpenAI status page and will update this incident as the upstream issue is resolved. Affected candidates will be automatically re-parsed once the upstream incident fully resolves.
